How to E-Mail Students/Parents
Use the iTeacher App to send e-mails to students and parents directly from your mobile device.
- You must have the iTeacher App installed on your device.
- You must have an active iSAMS user account to use the iTeacher App. Contact the Help Desk or your iSAMS administrator if you need help with this.
- Open the iTeacher App to display the Dashboard and tap the Comms tab at the bottom of the screen:
- Tap Contact Student or Parent:
- Use the selection tools to find the student/parent that you want to contact:
Choose to:- Use the filters to search for the records that you want to contact. Tap on any of the filters and work your way through the screens displayed.
- Contact students that are in your groups, such as your teaching groups. Tap on your selection and work through the screens, displayed.
- Search for a student by surname, forename or school code.
- Select the student that you want to contact:
The student's Contact Card is displayed:

Either:
- Select the Details tab towards the bottom of the screen. Tap on the student's E-Mail Address to send an e-mail directly to the student.
or - Select the Contacts tab towards the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the contact that you want to work with and tap on their E-mail Address to send an e-mail directly to the contact.
- Select the Details tab towards the bottom of the screen. Tap on the student's E-Mail Address to send an e-mail directly to the student.
